We’re happy to let you know that after a fair bit of calculating, we’ve been able to reduce prices for younger orienteers. We hope this makes it easier for families to attend Oceania 2025. Orienteering is a sport for everyone, and we’d love to get as many of you as possible enjoying the NZ coastal forests next January.
| Age | New pricing |
|---|---|
| 12 and under | 50% of junior rate (50% discount) |
| 13 to 18 | 80% of junior rate (20% discount) |
| 19 to 20 | Junior rate |
| 21 and over | Senior rate |
The same rate changes apply to the warm-up events, Oceania training and Oceania races. As with the previous pricing, the new rates are based on your age rather than the class you enter. If you’ve already entered and paid the higher rate, we will be in touch as soon as we can to refund the difference.
We’re also delaying the next Early Bird prize draw slightly, to 9pm Sunday on the 24th of November. That gives you a bit more time to get organised and get your entries in with a chance to win an awesome compass courtesy of our friends at Str8.
And if you’re not sure what to enter, we can help with that – see our help page for what to expect from a major event and what classes you should think about entering. It’s not as complicated as it looks!
