Oceania NZ Sprint Orienteering – a carnival of fast, short & sharp urban navigation

Join us in the Summer of 2024 for an unforgettable orienteering holiday in two volcanic cities in the New Plymouth and Auckland areas. Exciting sprint maps await with a variety of features, from small narrow paths in open park areas to races on paved areas. The events will test your quick decision-making and attention to detail. It will be a highlight for both visitors and locals as you discover hidden corners of these two cities.

There are a wide variety of orienteering courses from the beginner and family-friendly (the ‘all classes’ events) to the Knock Out (KO) elite events which are qualifiers for World Championship selection. The events start in Taranaki with the Lonely Mountain Sprints (LMS) followed by a break. Take your time to travel and sightsee on the way to Auckland for the second set of events – the Auckland Triple Crown (ATC).
